About CHEF of Alabama

The Christian Home Education Fellowship (CHEF) of Alabama exists to promote and encourage Christ-centered home education across our state. We serve families who are just beginning, exploring, or already walking this path of homeschooling, by offering practical information, connection, and encouragement.

CHEF is not a school, nor do we operate as a governing body. Instead, we function as a fellowship resource — pointing families to tools, events, legal guidance, and supportive church networks that can help them move forward with confidence.

Throughout the year, CHEF facilitates conventions, learning opportunities, and administrator roundtables to strengthen the broader homeschooling community. We exist to inform, to support, and to encourage — always with a commitment to Christ and to the family.
